On Saturday night Slingshot took Orlando by storm with the premier of their highly anticipated team video “Lipsmack.” The movie premiered at the Plaza Live following the Wake the Line qualifier event at OWC earlier in the day. It was a packed house as pro riders, industry big wigs, friends, family and more came out to support the video and get the first look at what team Slingshot has been up to for the past year +. From TX to Canada to Germany and more, the team covers all the bases in the film which opens up with a banger of a crash section on some of the craziest rail set ups to date, setting the tone for an in your face action packed flick that moves quick. Highlights include countless original rail set-ups such as the hump rails, hanging ball taps, step ups to step downs and double inclines, and that’s just the beginning. There’s also a killer style based wake riding section and then a technical based section later in the film in which Oli Derome steps up big. One of the most refreshing aspects of the movie is the comedy in between sections like Dylan Miller’s nude cone dance, McKee’s Ferarri cruise, and the one and only “Big Spence” taking it to the snow bare chested.
